Today, April 25, the American edition of CNN and the media cooperating with them, serving the interests of the escaped convicted Russian oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky, reported that Russian political strategists were trying to influence the political situation in Sudan.
The Foundation for the Protection of National Values reports that Mikhail Potepkin and Peter Bychkov, mentioned in the materials published today, are indeed members of the Fund’s Board of Trustees. We confirm that Mikhail Potepkin has been in Sudan for a long time now monitoring foreign intervention in Sudanese politics through the media and Western political strategists.
For more than two years, the Fund for the Protection of National Values evaluates the economic, social and political situation in the country, attracts consultants and experts in various fields of the economy in order to provide independent assessments and forecasts in all areas of government and society, and also develops recommendations for improvement.
One of the examples of the work of the Fund is the development of a strategy and a proposal to increase the income of the country and the population. This information is presented on the next slide dated November 22, 2018.
Mikhail Potepkin also repeatedly prepared reports on the deterioration of the socio-economic situation and forecasts of further developments, up to and including revolutions through a military coup. As a confirmation, we attach one of the documents prepared in August 2018.
This information was transmitted to the government of Sudan. The President of Sudan Omar al-Bashir was personally informed about different scenarios. However, the government’s disregard of the Fund’s recommendations on the necessary socio-economic reforms in the country nevertheless led to mass demonstrations and a military coup, which the Fund regularly warned about.
One of the important results of the Fund’s work in Sudan is advising on options for a bloodless transfer of power. It made possible avoiding mass casualties among the civilian population of Sudan.
In addition, the Foundation for the Protection of National Values carefully observed the processes of organizing street rallies and other mass actions that began in December 2018, and fixed external elements of influence on the “crowd” of demonstrators, creating images of heroes from oppositionists, feeding protest with cash infusions and technical support. For example, the protesters are massively sent contacts of the American and British media, including the BBC and CNN.
According to the Fund’s data, the pressure was carried out by the United Kingdom, the United States and some other Western countries, which contributed to the negative development of the socio-political situation in the country.
We responsibly declare that a significant part of the so-called documents published by CNN and Khodorkovsky’s resources are falsified.
Foundation employees see that their work on monitoring and evaluating events in different countries, including American intervention in Madagascar, the activities of French intelligence services and their cooperation with terrorists, the destruction of freedom of speech in countries controlled by the West, violates plans of some Western countries to install puppet government.
In this regard, the Fund, members of the Fund and attracted consultants and experts expect the continuation of information attacks and attempts to discredit its activities, from the resources that serve the interests of Western curators.
We ask the media to focus on the official statements of the Foundation, and not to use unreliable information disseminated on the Internet.
Currently, the Foundation continues to work on the territory of Sudan and regularly sends the prepared materials on the economic and social situation to the transitional government of the country.
The main task of the Foundation is to prevent destabilization of the current political situation since Sudan is on the verge of civil war. Due to the confrontation of Saudi Arabia and Qatar on the territory of Sudan, the emergence of radical Islamic and extremist groups is possible. To prevent this situation, the Foundation is engaged in advising all parties on the current political conflict in Sudan.
The Foundation President Alexander Malkevich urges Western media, such as CNN and the BBC, which, in pursuit of hype spread false information and do not assess its impact on the escalation of political conflicts in Sudan,to use reliable sources of information and not to distribute fake news.
